Capturing the Beauty of Women 50+

One of my greatest passions is to capture beauty. When I look through my lens I see beauty in every subject(no matter what it is) I photograph. But I have to say, it is especially so when I am photographing women. All women at any age are beautiful and it is such a pleasure to be able to capture that beauty with my camera. These are a few images of a beautiful vibrant 50+ woman named Julie who is a dancer.

I just love photographing boudoir sessions. Angelica wanted to give her husband who is serving in Afghanistan a special birthday present, but this session turned out to be a wonderful gift to herself. It is a privilege to help women(with help from makeup artist Nicol) celebrate and reveal their beauty. Check out the “before and after” photos and a few other photos from her session. A Featured Photographer in Love that Shot magazine

I was contacted by Misti from “Love that Shot” and asked to be one of the featured photographers in their new gallery section in their online magazine. WhooHoo! Alright, the magazine is now online. Antique Wedding Dress

I wanted to use this dress antique wedding dress which was given to me by a very generous client. The dress is a very small size and I needed someone tiny enough wear it.
Emily was the perfect size. I loved the photos we were able to get during this session. I guess you could say I am going through an old fashioned nostalgic phase, but I am having so much fun.
